Comcast was the host of the second Mid Atlantic
Cognos User Group (MACUG) meeting on September 24. The event was well
attended with 73 registered and 60 in attendance. The agenda included a
user presentation by McGraw Hill, a tips and tricks session by Waypoint and a
keynote presentation by Ray Payette from IBM. The steering committee was
also introduced at the meeting with representatives from Comcast, Yellowbook,
Vertex, PREIT, Ace and Waypoint. Ray Payette, Director of BI at IBM,
agreed to be the groups Executive Sponsor from IBM. Ray manages R&D
for BI at IBM and is based in Ottawa. His connections will ensure we have
valuable IBM presentations for future user groups.
The next MACUG meeting will be held in
